The Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (NMAMIT) came into existence in the sleeping hamlet of Nitte in 1986 and has churned out close to 10,000 graduates and post graduates in engineering, so far.
In its striving for excellence, along the 24 year long journey, it has gained AICTE recognition, NBA Accreditation, ISO 9001:2008 Certification, World Bank assistance as Lead institution and Academic autonomy under the VTU. It is all poised to be a part of the Nitte University.
The Alumni website is a meeting ground for our alumni to express, share, assist and inspire, to strengthen the alumni body. It would be wonderful to have all our graduates and postgraduates under the alumni banner by becoming life members. We invite you to become life members!
With thousands of our alumni engaged in entrepreneurial ventures, consultancies, research, teaching and service coming together, NMAMIT will be a force to reckon with, in the field of engineering education.
Here’s an opportunity for you to make a difference by providing mentorship to students. We invite you to be available to mentor our graduates in the making, to make internships/real life projects available, to help our students apply theory to practice & to join hands in making our graduates competent engineers.
And, yes, when we meet as planned in the 1st week of January 2011 for the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of NMAMIT, it should be an enviable Alumni Mela !
